Mihai began pursuing physiotherapy at the age of 15 after a football injury required extensive rehabilitation. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from the University of Windsor in Canada. From there he moved to Australia to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.
Mihai has lived and worked on the Mid North Coast for the last 9 years gaining experience in a variety of different clinics and settings. This includes private practice, sports injury clinics, aged care facilities, and local hospitals. He also ran the chronic pain program at Baringa Private Hospital.
He has a keen interest in working with people with chronic pain, auto-immune diseases, and neurological conditions. He has been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease himself which has prompted him to change his lifestyle drastically. He wants to bring the knowledge that he has learned through his own life to others and show them that it IS possible to improve their condition. He also has a significant gym and exercise background and enjoys working with anyone who is passionate about their health and well-being.
When not working Mihai enjoys going on adventures with his Blue Heeler "BG", reading, cooking, and spending time in nature.
