As nearly 70% of Australians are overweight or obese, exercise is a huge part of our treatment process here at Active Physiotherapy & Wellness. A lack of exercise or a return to exercise maybe a bit too emphatically after a long break is often the cause of many ailments and injuries in the body. This is often due to muscle weakness in relation to the demand of the task. Some health practitioners will tell you to stop doing said task, however, when that task is running around with your kids or playing your favourite sport, that advice isn’t really what you want to hear. What we aim to do instead is to build your strength and endurance levels back up so that you can perform all of your activities without fear of re-injury.

We also work closely with Beachbodies Health Club and have access to their gym facilities for use during our physiotherapy sessions.
